Scott Molzahn GRI, Broker with ERA Landmark Real Estate recently attended the National Association of Realtors midyear convention in Washington, D.C., May 9-13, representing the Gallatin Association of Realtors as 2011 President-Elect. Discussion topics over the 5 day event included the possible repeal of the mortgage interest deduction, restructuring of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac and other Government Sponsored Enterprises (GSE's), extension of the Flood insurance program, liquidity in the banking system and the effects of requiring 20% down payment and the removal of the 30 year mortgage. Molzahn was among the state delegates that met personally with Senators Max Baucus, Jon Testor, and Representative Dennis Rehberg to discuss these issues.
Molzahn has been with ERA Landmark since obtaining his sales license in 2006 and received his Broker’s license in 2010. He received national recognition from ERA in 2009 and 2010 for obtaining "Beyond Excellence" status.
